In 2026, an Andalusian SME or self-employed person who wants to fund their digitalisation or an artificial intelligence project will not find a single window: grants come from the Spanish State, the Regional Government of Andalusia, the Chambers of Commerce and local bodies, and each one opens and closes in its own official gazette. This guide explains where to look, what to check and how to prepare your application.
Where things stand on 23 October 2026
- Kit Digital (State, Red.es). Order TDF/39/2026 (BOE-A-2026-2070) amended its rules: the programme applies to calls issued until its funds are fully used. The framework is still alive, but you can only apply when Red.es publishes a call with an open deadline.
- Regional Government of Andalusia. Regional schemes are published in the Official Gazette of the Regional Government of Andalusia (BOJA), and the deadline is set by the summary of each call.
- Chambers of Commerce. Some digitalisation programmes are run province by province, with their own deadlines and requirements.
- Andalucía +ei. The 2026 edition is complete and closed: it does not accept new registrations.
| Source of the grant | Where it is published | What to check before preparing anything |
|---|---|---|
| Spanish State (Red.es and ministries) | Official State Gazette (BOE) and the Red.es e-office | That a call has been published with an open deadline, who can apply and which costs it covers |
| Regional Government of Andalusia | Official Gazette of the Regional Government of Andalusia (BOJA) | The summary of the call: deadline, amount, eligible activities and how to apply |
| Chambers of Commerce | Website of your provincial Chamber | The programme's own deadline, its requirements and whether it requires a prior assessment |
| Any source | National Grants Database (BDNS) | Whether the call is listed as open or closed, and its identification code |
Three steps to have your application ready
- Get up to date before you start. Spain's General Grants Act, Law 38/2003 (art. 13.2.e), prevents anyone who is not up to date with their tax or Social Security obligations from becoming a beneficiary. Request your certificates from the Tax Agency and Social Security in good time.
- Describe a specific project. Which process you will improve, with which tool, what result you will measure and who reviews what the artificial intelligence proposes before it is used.
- Keep an audit trail from day one. Quotes, contracts, invoices, proof of payment and evidence of use: the final report is what decides whether the grant is paid.

Frequently asked questions
Can I apply for Kit Digital today?
Only when Red.es publishes a call with an open deadline. Order TDF/39/2026 allows new calls until the programme's funds run out, but it does not open any deadline by itself. Check the Red.es e-office and the BOE.
Where are the Regional Government of Andalusia's grants published?
In the Official Gazette of the Regional Government of Andalusia (BOJA). To find out whether a call is open, also check the National Grants Database (BDNS).
Is the Andalucía +ei programme still open?
No. The 2026 edition is complete and closed, and it does not accept new registrations.
What do I need, at a minimum, to be a beneficiary?
To be up to date with the Tax Agency and Social Security (art. 13 of Law 38/2003) and to meet the specific requirements of each call.
